The first refers to regional integration thanks to the development of intra-zone exchanges, and global integration by virtue of the development of extra-zone exchanges The next element refers to international regional associations that contribute to the economic integration of the countries that are members The third one deals with the Latin American region, where the character of a minimalist regionalism is peculiar Finally, we find the results that have been achieved in terms of convergence and compensation in the field of European-style integration.
