Abstract

This paper analyzes how the 2008 international financial crisis affected Mexican economy performance and why Mexican economy has been having slow growth during the last 20 years. The last two Mexican governments have chosen macroeconomic stability upon growth, as a result, poverty and inequality have become worst.
