Abstract

Xochimilco is Cultural Heritage of Humanity and because of that has been implemented different measures to stop the degradation of the area. However, despite the efforts of local, federal and international authorities starting the project UNESCO-Xochimilco it was discovered that Xochimilco is still affected by human presence.

The objective of this work is to evaluate the implementation of the rescue policies and development in the area, in order to find the root of the problem; also, its presented the experience that was collected from residents to estimate the social welfare
