In this paper, globalization is seen as a phenomenon that has more of a historical character, as a process of constant rapprochement between the different regions of the world over time and that therefore has always had cultural, economic, social and political implications, but that in recent decades has been presented as a novelty that entails the inevitability of the advent of a world order favorable to the dynamics of capitalist accumulation and the reinforcement of neoliberal ideology.
