This article aims to analyze the cooperation in science and technology between the European Union and Mexico in the period 2003 to 2013 as an area of special interest to the bilateral economic and social progress of member countries. This area has received a special boost, making them a priority on the agenda of cooperation between the parts. Due to changes in the guidelines of cooperation of the European Union proposed for 2013, it is pertinent to make a previous timing analysis, for future prospects arising from a new eu programming, including an historic investment.
