Abstract

The present study is about the dynamics of development in Mexico, narrowing its dimension to the northwest region integrated by Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa and Sonora. Methodologically, through the comparison
of indicators on poverty measurement and economic dynamics is approached, a per capita export estimate and a correlation analysis are proposed to determine the affinity of each entity to insert in the globalization process via exports. This will allow us to establish some conclusions about the participation of the population in the exports and identify possible asymmetries in the distribution of income and its association with poverty.
