Abstract

In this opportunity we present the results of a compilation and review of different ways of obtaining a sample from a given population. As is known, if it were necessary to obtain information directly from the study entities, many research occasions would not be feasible, which happens mostly when the population or universe of study is large. In order to make this type of research possible, sampling is used, a method with which it is possible to shorten the time and financial resources required for the research. Six texts are presented, each one containing a different formulation, in which this need to take samples to apply questionnaires and obtain information as a primary source of research is found.
