Abstract

Very few educational theorists, when referring to the sciences of education, give a prominent place to the economics of education, which is not one of the subjects in the academic curricula for the training of teachers and educators in the country, both at the level of studies in elementary and higher teacher training schools, in the National Pedagogical University, and in private institutions of higher education, where there are currently many bachelor's degrees in pedagogy, education and special education.
