Nobel Prize in EconomicsAbstract
In a recent publication on the Nobel Prize in Economics (more correctly the Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences in memory of Alfred Nobel) the author, Thomas Karier, carries out a thorough analysis of the economists who have been awarded this distinction. His study appears with a novel structure, since unlike other relatively recent scholars such as Das Neves and González Blasco, Karier does not make his historical account based on individual contributions. On the contrary, he groups the awarded economists according to their main contributions to important issues in economic theory and science.
