The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated extreme movements in business, increasing the barriers to accessing formality. This study analyzes the population's access to retail businesses and street markets in vulnerable areas of the municipality of León, Guanajuato in Mexico. We ask ourselves, then, what is the incidence of retail businesses and flea markets in these vulnerable areas. Therefore, we assume that the distribution of these businesses maintains concentrations in medium economies, due to their consumer culture. To do this, we carried out a geospatial exploratory study to observe the phenomenon and its behavior. Some results demonstrated considerable clusters of retail businesses and flea markets in the middle economies and few or none in high capital gains and high marginalization, in addition to coexistence between these businesses.
