Abstract

In contrast to the free international movement of capital, goods and services, there are still strong restrictions on the mobility of labor between one country and another. This is precisely the direct experience of the extremely restrictive measures that the United States has been adopting towards Mexican undocumented workers.
In a way, this is what induced me to venture into this very interesting topic: to shed some light on the dimension of the migration problem in our country, and what is behind it. That is, the problem of insufficiency on the part of the Mexican government to implement more successful policies in the reactivation of our economy, and therefore in the generation of jobs. This is such an important challenge, especially given the ever-increasing amounts of migration flows of Mexicans that are entering the United States annually.
